Our amateur Philosophy group's approach is guided by this quote from Stanford University, California. "Philosophy should be engaged and applied, addressing questions as they arise in the real world". At our meetings we have a short talk and then discuss or questions, sitting in groups of about 6, always varying the groups we sit in. We give advance notice of the questions we will discuss, by email.
