The St Neots & District u3a golf group meets for a round of golf every month except December. We use a number of different local golf courses and generally start our day by meeting and chatting over a coffee and breakfast in the clubhouse before setting off on the course. We finish the day back in the club house as is customary with golf!

The main point of our group is for an enjoyable day, we don’t require golfers to have an official handicap and so there is no element of competition other than we generally have a prize for one or two nearest-the-pin challenges.

Golfers of all capabilities are welcomed and we generally recommend a form of “Texas Scramble” which means that if a player is having difficulty, they bring their ball up to where the others in the group are and continue from there.

The group also have an annual “ Away Day “ where we travel a little further afield for 2 rounds of golf and an overnight stay
