Ever wanted to play Chess but were unsure of the rules, or just don’t know anyone that plays?

This Group caters for those new to the game, those that can play, those that want to improve and those that want to play at tournament level.

So, if you want to know how to pin a bishop, or to put the queen and knight into a fork, or if you just want to relax and play chess, then why not come along. For those that are serious about the game, this is also an opportunity to assess your skills with Colin (who could be described as a ‘Black Belt’ in chess) and then go on to play at local tournament level.
