Are you fascinated by the people and events that have shaped our world?

Military history is about far more than battles and armies. The subject is vast, and the personalities involved come from every walk of life and from every corner of the globe. Their decisions, ambitions, successes and failures have helped shape the history and development of the modern world.

Our new Military History Group invites you to explore this fascinating subject with like-minded members. Together, we’ll look at momentous events from bygone days, discover the stories behind them and, most importantly, share our own thoughts, questions and opinions.

No specialist knowledge is required. The sessions are open to ALL inquisitive and interested minds. Whether you already have a passion for military history or simply want to learn more about the people and events that shaped the world we live in today, you are very welcome.

Bring your body along – but most importantly, bring your inquiring mind!
