Remember the country dancing you did at school?  Well, this is the grown up version!  In our Folk Dancing sessions Adrian, our caller, talks and walks us through each dance before adding the music.  It helps to know your left from your right but Adrian can teach you that as well if you don't know......

We do dances of all shapes and sizes: longways, circle, square, etc., and we learn how to do do-si-dos, figures of eight, left and right hand turns, left and right stars, etc.  It doesn't matter if you get it wrong (that's the beauty of English folk dancing) and you don't need to bring a partner, we all mix in.

Adrian is an experienced folk dance caller, he regularly calls dances in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire and he has the patience of Job!
