Tamandra will talk about first hand accounts of the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) on the run in WWII.  Two members of Timanra’s family were fighting in the BEF in 1940, were captured, but escaped. Recaptured in Spain, their final destination was Gibraltar.

In Spain, Timandra’s father and his partner wrote an account of their escape which led Timandra to further research and a book called “From a Hard Place to a Rock”.

This promises to be a talk of considerable interest!
